  1. Cepstral and residual conversion results in terms of the average quadratic distance between time-aligned vectors over each subband. The fourth column shows the multiplier along each subband and the fifth column shows the resulting number of bits/coefficient of the sorting information. The sixth column shows the initial distances between source and target vectors. The seventh column shows the distance between the resynthesized and target vectors when the full algorithm is applied. The two last columns show the results when the algorithm is not applied correctly.
