Block diagram of ViSQOL. High-level block diagram of the ViSQOL algorithm, also summarised in Algorithm 1. Pre-processing includes signal leveling and production of spectrogram representations of the reference and degraded signal. Similarity comparison: alignment, warp compensation, and calculating similarity scores between patches from the spectrograms. Quality prediction: patch similarity scores are combined and translated to an overall objective MOS result. Full reference MATLAB implementation available.
