Patch warping. The versions of the reference patch #1 are shown: warped temporally to 0.95 times the length, un-warped (1.0 factor) and 1.05 times warped. These are compared to the degraded signal at the area of maximum similarity and adjacent frames. The highest similarity score for all warps tested is used for each given patch.
