GCF maps when sources are in P1 and P3. (a) shows the original map: the presence of the dominant source in P3 compresses the function dynamics at other points. (b) shows the map after a selective de-emphasis (b = 0.5 and p = 1.5) is performed: the secondary source in P1 is now evident (in the circle). Conversely, in (c) a wider (b = 5.5 and p = 1.5) is applied which removes completely the contribution of T2 and hence eliminates also the peak associated to P1.
